Calacatta Gold Marble imported from Carrara, Tuscany Province, Northern Italy.
The signature look of Calacatta Gold Marble is warm (tones of brown, tan) and cool (gray) colors on a white background.
Genuine Calacatta Marble is considered a high end, designer-oriented marble. We are able to provide lower pricing as we are the direct importers and distributors, sourcing our inventory directly from Massa-Carrara in Italy. We are not re-sellers, but direct importers. Even though it is not a must, we highly suggest to use a quality sealer to protect your tiles. The type of stone sealer must be as follows:
- Penetrating (this is a dense Italian marble, so the sealer has to absorb into the stone
- Water-Based (Not oil-based)
- Non-Enhancing (so the colors would not change)
We can not advertise a brand name, but it is possible to locate a quality sealer from your local home improvement store based on above recommendation.
